2012-08-15 [Cerulean Sins]: Lucy knocked on the door of the ballroom, she knew her father was in there. She wanted to see what he thought of the room. Oh how she craved her father's love and she tried to earn it. She missed the days when he would look at her like a father should instead of a look of hate.

William was in his room getting ready for this ball.

2012-08-15 [Sigyn, The Faithful Wife]: Guy turned, nodded to one of the guards to open the door. "Lucania." He said when he saw her in the doorway. He looked over her gown and hair, a fresh stab of pain coming to him because she looked so much like her mother. He looked back to the ball room.

Fleur looked to the three girls helping her, "You three, have a fun night, and do not give the maids any trouble." She smiled, watching as the two youngest dashed from the room. The eldest smiled, "I can't wait until I'm old enough to go to a ball." Fleur chuckled softly, "One more year, dear, and you'll have all the balls your heart can desire." She stood, slipped on the silver slippers that matched her dress, it had little pearls on them to match the necklace. She watched the girl leave then went to the hall to wait.

Henry and Geoffery were already mingling with the crowd, talking to old friends.

2012-08-15 [Cerulean Sins]: "Papa."Lucy whispered as she slowly walks over to Guy. She wanted to ask him if he liked what she and Lady Fleur had done but she was too scared to ask.

William left his room and went straight to the ballroom.

2012-08-15 [Sigyn, The Faithful Wife]: Guy looked at her, "You two did well." He said, giving another nod. But his eyes and face remained cold. He looked back over the ball room. "Shall we see how everyone else likes it?"

Fleur took a deep breath, she was nervous in crowds. She looked over a balcony to where people waited to be led into the ball room, searching for people she knew, other then Henry and Geoffery that is.

2012-08-15 [Cerulean Sins]: Lucy gasped in surprise. She couldn't believe that she got praise off her father. All she wanted to do right now was to hug him but she knew she would get punished for it. So she would brag to her brothers about her praise."Thank you papa."She said with a big smile on her face. "Yes, of course." She was over the moon excited.

William walked into the ballroom and made a beeline to his brothers.

2012-08-15 [Sigyn, The Faithful Wife]: Guy raised a brow slightly, then shrugged it off and left the room to gather the guest.

Fleur smiled a little when she saw William, then shook her head and went to the stairs, slowly walking down them to the crowd.

2012-08-15 [Cerulean Sins]: And Lucy's happy mood died out when she saw the look on her father's face. She frowned as she watched him walk away. Why don't you love me any more, papa? She thought.

William walked up to his brothers."Hey."

2012-08-15 [Sigyn, The Faithful Wife]: Guy sighed a little to himself as he walked to the guests.

Henry smiled, "William." He was in a good mood tonight.

Geoffery nodded, "Hello.. Have you seen our sister?" He trailed off, looking to the stairs. He smirked a little and nudged William.

2012-08-15 [Cerulean Sins]: Lucy sighed softly then she plastered a fake smile on her face as some guest made their way into the ballroom.

"No I haven't. Normally Lucy is the first one here."William frowned with concern.

2012-08-15 [Sigyn, The Faithful Wife]: "There's dad." Henry pointed at the front of the crowd, wheere people were starting to file into the ball room.

"Look William, it's your girl." Geoffery indicated to the stairs, "Why is it that she always looks like a scared little rabbit..?"

Fleur was stopped on the stairs, she had a look on her face like she was thinking about turning and going back up the stairs before anyone noticed her.

2012-08-15 [Cerulean Sins]: William looked at Geoffery."She is not my girl."He said as he looked over at the stair case.

2012-08-15 [Sigyn, The Faithful Wife]: Henry smirked, "Then can I have her?" He grinned a bit, "Who's going to go rescue her?" He asked.

Geoffery chuckled a little, then raised a brow as a young man joined her on the stairs, "We were beaten to it. Let's go." He turned to go into the ball room.

Fleur smiled in relief, a familiar face! She smiled as her cousin joined her on the stairs, "Ulriq." She laughed a little when he kissed her hand, then pulled her into a hug, "I didn't know you were to be here." She said as she was set back on her feet. Ulriq was just slightly older then her, 6'5" with legs and arms like trees. He was huge, burly, almost looked unapproachable, but he was the sweetest person in her father's family.
Ulriq smiled, "Well, I had to come here and make sure everything was going well." He said with a thick German accent. "And your father wanted me here to see how the match making is going."

2012-08-15 [Cerulean Sins]: William sighed."Let's find Lucy."He said as he followed Geoffery into the ballroom.

Lucy was standing by herself near the guards at the door. She was staying out of her fathers way, out of everyones way.

2012-08-15 [Sigyn, The Faithful Wife]: Guy was watching Lucy and he sighed a little. He walked over to her after excusing himself. "Lucy... You really did do an excellent job." SO maybe he had a heart? Did he?

Geoffery frowned when he walked in and spotted Lucy with their father, "If he makes her cry tonight.."

Fleur stood at the base of the stairs now with her cousin, "It doesn't go well at all Ulriq." She looked to the awaiting doors and sighed, "Father is giving me only a little over a week. What man would marry in such short time without being told that he must?" She looked at him. "You did not marry Helena until you were told that you legally had to.. It worked well for you now, but you must admit that you resented your wife for many years."

Ulriq nodded a little, "But I am in your father's court, I know what slanders he is claiming so that the church wont go against him in putting you to your death.."

2012-08-15 [Cerulean Sins]: Lucy looked up at Guy with surprise."Thank you papa."She whispered with a small smile. Her heart swelled with happiness and she hugged him. Yes it was a bold move but she didn't care, she felt this moment deserved a hug.

William nodded a little when he looked over at Guy talking to Lucy but his jaw dropped and he stopped walking when he saw Lucy hug Guy. He just couldn't believe his eyes.

2012-08-16 [Sigyn, The Faithful Wife]: Guy froze when she hugged him. He paused and awkwardly returned the hug.

Henry's eyes went wide, "Am I the only one seeing this..?" He asked.

2012-08-16 [Cerulean Sins]: "I knew you cared for me."Lucy whispered as she looked up at him, still hugging him. She couldn't believe that her father was hugging her back, it has been too long since she was in her father's arms.

"What the hell is going on?"William muttered. He couldn't wrap his mind around it. It just seemed strange or like a dream.

2012-08-16 [Sigyn, The Faithful Wife]: Guy looked down at her, "That's something your mother would have said.." He said softly before gently releasing her.

Henry shook his head, "Maybe our father's been drinking."

2012-08-16 [Cerulean Sins]: "Perhaps."William muttered with a shrug.

Lucy frowned softly as she grabbed his hand and held it. She brought his hand to her cheek. She had so many things to say and she knew she would never get another chance like this again."I know. I heard her say it once before she died. I miss her too, and so do my brothers. We all miss Mama. I'm sorry I remind you of her, I really am and I know that's why you hate me. I wish I could do something to change my looks so you would love me like you did when Mama was still alive. I hate it when you punish my brothers, they are he future of your kingdom and you should trust their guidances more often. I know your going to marry me off to some man that I won't love and I understand that, I'm just a hassle."She kissed his hand."And I'll understand if you punish me for what I have said." She finished speaking with tears swelled up in her eyes and she walked away from Guy and over to her brothers.

2012-08-16 [Sigyn, The Faithful Wife]: Guy sighed and stood there after he walked away, then went back to talking to guests.

Geoffery sighed, "He made you cry.." He said softly, cupping his sister's face in his hands. "I'll kill him if you want?"

2012-08-16 [Cerulean Sins]: Lucy smiled a little and she hugged Geoffery."He didn't make me cry. I told him what I felt, finally I did it." She smiled a little.

"And he didn't drag you out of the room to smack you about?"William asked with one eyebrow raised.

2012-08-16 [Sigyn, The Faithful Wife]: Geoffery held her close, looked at William, "Not in front of a group like this." He kissed Lucy's head and smiled a little.

Fleur and her cousin came into the room, met by Ulriq's wife. She hugged Helena and kissed her cheek, speaking in fast German to the woman.

2012-08-16 [Cerulean Sins]: Lucy smiled and she looked over at William."Perhaps after the ball, William." Then she looked up at Geoffery."And you won't kill papa. He is our only parent alive and he may not show that he loves us but he does loves us. I just proved that."

William sighed. As much as he would love to enter into an argument with Lucy over this, he knew this wasn't the time or the place.

2012-08-16 [Sigyn, The Faithful Wife]: Geoffery raised a brow and opened his mouth to argue, but Henry reached over and covered it.

"We aren't interrupting, are we?" Fleur asked softly, she wanted to introduce her family.

2012-08-16 [Cerulean Sins]: Lucy looked over at Fleur."No you aren't." She smiled. Lucy has never looked so happy.

2012-08-16 [Sigyn, The Faithful Wife]: Fleur smiled warmly, "Good. This is my cousin Lord Ulriq, and is wife Lady Helena." She said, "Cousin, this is Lady Lucania, Lord William, Lord Henry, and Lord Geoffery."

Ulriq bowed and Helena curtsied as best she could, she was pregnant.

William bowed.

2012-08-16 [Sigyn, The Faithful Wife]: Henry bowed and so did Geoffery.

Ulriq looked at the men for a moment, as if sizing them up. He was fond of his cousin, he wasn't sure he liked any of them.. Then he smiled and looked around, "My wife would like to know if there's going to be food soon?"

Fleur just chuckled softly and shook her head a little. Her cousin's English wasn't that good, so his conversations were often abrupt and socially strange.

2012-08-16 [Cerulean Sins]: "Your German."Lucy smiled. She spoke a wee bit of German but her brothers where much better at German than her.

"From what my sister has told me there will be food served once our father decides. Sadly he will take time welcoming everyone to the ball."William said in perfect German.

2012-08-16 [Sigyn, The Faithful Wife]: Helena's face lit up, speaking in rapid German-because there was no other speed for her-, she said "It's good to hear someone from France speak German so well! I'm sad to say I can only speak German."

Ulriq took his wife's hand and grinned, "Not true, you can say five word in English."

2012-08-16 [Cerulean Sins]: "Our father forced us to learn many different languages."William said with a small smile.

2012-08-16 [Sigyn, The Faithful Wife]: Helena grinned, "My father forbid it."

2012-08-16 [Cerulean Sins]: "Shame. It is enjoyable to insult someone in a different language that they don't understand."William said in German with a grin.

2012-08-16 [Sigyn, The Faithful Wife]: Helena laughed softly, Ulriq nodded because he loved to insult people in other languages.

Fleur looked to Lucy and smiled a little, "I love your hair tonight." She said softly to her while the others talked.

2012-08-17 [Cerulean Sins]: William grinned a little."My sister is the best at insulting people in Spanish though she will never admit to it."

Lucy smiled at Fleur."I love your hair tonight. It's so pretty."

2012-08-17 [Sigyn, The Faithful Wife]: Ulriq nodded, "Spanish is the best, German is ok, except if you translate them into English." He chuckled.

Fleur smiled, "Thank you."

"You look wonderful, Lady Fleur."Lucy smiled.

Ulriq smiled a little, "Has my cousin been good company?"

"My sister has been a lot more happier since she arrived."William said.

Ulriq nodded, "Good."

2012-08-17 [Cerulean Sins]: "Yes, we did. My father is very happy with the room."Lucy smiled brightly.

"How are you enjoying Angoulême?"William asked.

Ulriq smiled a little, "It's beautiful here, my wife thinks we should have a summer home here."

"I'm glad your enjoying your stay."William said.

Ulriq nodded, "Have you ever been to Germany?"

"Sadly I haven't. Our father doesn't allow us to travel."William said.

Ulriq nodded a little, "Well, if you ever get the chance, you should definitely come. It's almost as pretty, but the beer is better." He grinned.

William chuckled."Oh I don't believe the beer is better." He looked at Geoffery and Henry."He says the beer is better in German."

Ulriq chuckled, "Believe me, it is." He nodded.

Geoffery smiled, "Good plan..I'd like in on beer tasting."

Henry rolled his eyes at his brother.

Fleur looked over the crowd, talking softly to Lucy, "Do you see anyone you like?"

Lucy shook her head."Sadly no but I'm sure Father will pressure me into dancing with a lot of men tonight." She sighed.

Fleur frowned, "We'll find someone nice enough at least.. I'll help you search."

She pointed out a man who was younger the her father, maybe too old to be considered a match though. "He is a good man, a widow. He's not looking to marry, but he's an excellent dancer." She indicated to a young man, "And he is not as fine of a dancer, but he wont step on your toes."

Lucy curtsied to Guy and the people talking to him."Father, some of the lords and ladies where wondering when dinner shall be served."

2012-08-27 [Sigyn, The Faithful Wife]: "Too late.. "Geoffery said.

Guy looked around, "Is it that late?" He shrugged mildly and nodded to the cook waiting. "Tell the lords and ladies that the doors shall open in a few moments."

2012-08-27 [Cerulean Sins]: Lucy smiled."Thank you, Father and I am sorry I interrupted your conversation." She said as she curtsied to Guy then she rushed off back to her brothers with a smile on her face."Dinner shall be served in a few moments." She looked happy.

2012-08-27 [Sigyn, The Faithful Wife]: Henry sighed and nodded, "Don't think that because father hasn't punished you yet, that he wont. Don't be so darring or it could get bad quickly."

2012-08-28 [Cerulean Sins]: "I'm going to enjoy this for as long as it lasts and I don't care if I get punished. Tonight I feel as if father cares about me."Lucy smiled.

2012-08-29 [Cerulean Sins]: Lucy sipped her glass of water. Lucy never drank mead, beer or wine because she doesn't like the taste of it.

William chatted to one of the Lords who lived near by.

2012-08-29 [Cerulean Sins]: After dinner Guy announced that the dancing shall begin and so it did......

Lucy was dancing with a man in his mid 20's, who smelled strongly of wine and this man was holding Lucy a little too close for comfort.

William was dancing with Fleur and with a cheeky grin he spun her.

2012-10-14 [Sigyn, The Faithful Wife]: [Oh... Jeeze... All this time I thought my reply had gone in and I was just waiting for you.. And I wasn't going to bug you, but I decided to come bug you and I realize "Dope, your post never went through"... I blame my phone.. xD]

Guy was sitting at the edge of the room, sipping his wine while he watched his children. His mind was ever churning in his schemeing plans, and now he had plans for other three. In his mind, from what he saw, the marriage between William and Lady Fleur was set.

Geoffery was scanning for a dance partner after a friend had 'taken' his. It was something they did often to one another. Noting the uncomfortable look on his sister's face, he walked over, tapping the man's shoulder.

Fleur couldn't help but giggle when she was spun unexpectedly. She watched the colors of spinning skirts all around them as she spun and looked back to him with a smile.

Henry burst into the hall through a side door, lips locked to a young woman. His hands were on her wrist and for a moment it was unclear if he was trying to remove her hands, or place them on his hips. He pushed a little more forcefully and made their lips part, pushing her away from him. "You've had too much to drink my Lady." He said respectfully to the woman. She'd clearly had too much to drink and wanted to bed him. Henry was by no means innocent, but he'd never bedded a Lady of any status. He'd been with wenches mostly, and had even had a couple of the maids. But the risk was too great if anyone in the court found out just who a Lady's lovers were and it could destroy them. So he made it a rule not to bed them. When she kept pushing, he moved her arms behind her and gently started her to the kitchen.

2012-10-14 [Cerulean Sins]: Lucy looked at Geoffery with a small look of relief."Geoffery."She smiled.

The man dancing with Lucy looked at Geoffery."Lord Geoffery."He nodded and tightened his grip on Lucy a little.

William smiled at Fleur when he spun her back into his arm."Having a good time, Lady Fleur?"

2012-10-14 [Sigyn, The Faithful Wife]: Geoffery smiled a little at his sister, then looked at the man, "I do apologize for interrupting your dance, but I must speak with my sister." He held out a hand for Lucy's, staring the man down. Geoffery was the reckless one; the one who didn't mind punching someone in the middle of a ball.

Fleur blushed and smiled, nodding "I am, thank you Lord William.."

2012-10-14 [Cerulean Sins]: The man let go of Lucy and walked away.

Lucy took Geoffery's hand and smiled."Have I told you how much I love you today?"

"Good. I'm glad your having a good time."William smiled as he danced with her.

2012-10-14 [Sigyn, The Faithful Wife]: Geoffery smiled a little and shook his head, "I don't believe you have." He chuckled, kissing her hand lightly. "Would you like to continue dancing, or fresh air?"

"And are you Sir? Having a good time I mean." Fleur asked.

2012-10-14 [Cerulean Sins]: Lucy giggled softly."Well I love you. Fresh air, please." She smiled.

William nodded."Yes, I am Lady Fleur."He smiled.

2012-10-14 [Sigyn, The Faithful Wife]: Geoffery nodded and led her outside of the crowded room. Once they were outside, and were alone, he sighed and dropped her hand. Something was bothering him.

Fleur smiled and nodded, "I am glad that you're having fun."

2012-10-14 [Cerulean Sins]: Lucy took a deep breath as she looks up at the clear night sky then she looked over at Geoffery."Something is troubling you."

William smiled as he dipped her.

2012-10-14 [Sigyn, The Faithful Wife]: Geoffery leaned against the rail of the balcony and looked out over the gardens. He sighed softly, "It is nothing Lucy, I promise."

Fleur tightened her hands on him a little, blushing as she suppressed another fit of giggles. She'd never been twirled or dipped before and she was nervous she would mess up.

"I won't drop you."William smiled.

2012-10-14 [Sigyn, The Faithful Wife]: Geoffery put a hand over hers and smiled lightly, "It really is. If ever it threatens to injure you, or our siblings, then I will tell you what weighs on my mind." He looked at her, "Until then, you must trust me."

Fleur blushed harder and nodded, "I know, its just I've never been danced with like this.."

2012-10-14 [Cerulean Sins]: Lucy nodded a little."I trust you, Geoffery."She smiled a little."If you need to talk then I'm here for you."

William smiled as he pulled her back up.

Fleur smiled a bit, "Wow.." She whispered.

William smiled as he danced with her.

Fleur smiled as they danced. Had dancing always been this fun?

William had never had so much fun dancing before. Normally he hated it but now he liked it.

Fleur chuckled softly and closed her eyes for just a moment before opening them, "I wouldn't advise closing your eyes." She said with a giggle.

William chuckled."How come?"

"It makes the room spin faster than you are." Fleur said with a slight grin.

Lucy held onto Geoffery, she was silently comforting him. She knew something was bugging him but she also knew he would tell her if it concerns her or her brothers.

William chuckled.

Geoffery kept his eyes on the sky for a while, then looked at her and smiled, "Shall we?"

Fleur blushed a little, "You must think me silly."

"Of course not. My mother use to do that with myself and my siblings when she was alive."

Fleur smiled softly, "From what I've heard of her, she was a remarkable woman."

2012-10-29 [Cerulean Sins]: Lucy could feel her father's glares, she tensed up a little and clung to Geoffery a little tighter.

"She was the heart of the kingdom."William said.

"I'm sorry.. You must miss her terribly.." Fleur said quietly.

William nodded."The kingdom still grieves for her."

2012-10-29 [Sigyn, The Faithful Wife]: Geoffery grinned a little, "Well, our brothers are rather neglectful. What with William hogging Lady Fleur, but denying he thinks her anything more than a nice young woman, and Henry being the virtue savior of Lady Borlia who indulged too much.. Again." He took onto the dance floor and swept her away as the music changed to something a little faster.

Fleur gave his hand a gentle squeeze because she didn't know what to say, or how to comfort him. She could see in his eyes that he still grieved very much for his mother.

2012-10-29 [Cerulean Sins]: Lucy was going to reply back to Geoffery but she started laughing when he swept her away with the music."Oh Geoffery!" She giggled as she danced with him.

As the music changed William danced with Fleur a little faster.

2012-10-29 [Sigyn, The Faithful Wife]: Geoffery grinned, "Yes dear sister?"

Henry was in the kitchen, sipping some wine. He shook his head a little and sighed. He would have to return to the party soon enough, but not yet.

Fleur smiled and looked at Lucy when she heard her laughing. She chuckled softly, glad Lucy had found a partner she liked.

Coco walked into the kitchen with an empty silver tray that had been filled with wine. She saw Henry and she bowed, keeping her head low, then she set the tray on the table.

William saw Lucy having a good time and he couldn't help but smile. Lucy was the only reason that none of the brothers have killed Guy yet and the old man knew it. None of the De Monfort Brothers could bare to upset their sister.

2012-10-29 [Sigyn, The Faithful Wife]: Geoffery grinned a little, "Well, I have to be with you. You're my sister, so I can't be the cad that I am."

Henry looked to her and shook his head a little, "Please don't. Not around me. As a middle child I am nothing of consequence."

Fleur watched them and smiled, "You're all very good to your sister. I admire that."

2012-10-29 [Cerulean Sins]: "You are not a cad, Geoffery. Don't say such cruel things about yourself."Lucy said seriously.

Coco didn't say anything but she nodded a tiny bit then she started filling jugs full of wine. Her feet where killing her, she had been on the go since two hours before dawn.

"Lucy is our light in the darkness we live in."William said softly.

2012-10-29 [Sigyn, The Faithful Wife]: Geoffery shook his head a little and grinned, "You can believe that dear sister, but our brothers know better." He was as bad as their father when it came to using women. He knew that, he hated it about himself, but he liked drinking too much.. And his drinking usually led to using women.

"Your name is Coco, is it not?" Henry asked after a moment.

"Lucy is a light in the world Sir." Fleur smiled lightly.

2012-10-29 [Cerulean Sins]: "Your a good man, Geoffery. I know you are and don't ever think you aren't. You are not. If you where a cad then I wouldn't speak to you."Lucy said with passion. She truly believed that there was good in everyone.

Coco nodded but she refused to look at Henry. She had been taught better than to look at a noble."Yes, sir."She whispered so very softly.

William nodded."Oui."

Henry nodded, "Then you should be home by now." He grabbed a nearby apple and bit into it. He knew the servants rather well, even if he hardly spoke to any of them. It was as much of a scandal for him to recognize them like they were his equals, as it was for them to respond. But Henry stayed in the kitchens, or other areas nobles didn't go-particularly his father- to escape being noble for a while..

Fleur smiled lightly

"When the party ends."Coco spoke softly. She knew the party would end in the early hours of the morning, and Coco would only get about three hours sleep.

William smiled as he danced with Fleur.

Henry nodded, "Then do not come in tomorrow. You will still be payed, but it will be best for your safety." He looked to her,"If anyone says differently, send them to me."

Fleur smiled a bit and glanced around a bit

Coco nodded a little but she would still come into work because she didn't want to get in trouble. She didn't wonder what he meant by the safety comment.
